Over in the 'Modern Amps' forum I posted a link to a live recording with the band where I used my Cyber-Twin. As my friend and bass player, Ed White, is slipping away I wanted to post a tribute to his playing here from the Granville Blues Fest.

The song is one I wrote called 'Hidden Love' (William A. Houston, T-Notes Records, BMI ©1999).

The song is long because as I start my solo, I leave the stage (I'm wireless) and walk out into the crowd and play to a few women. As you can hear, the band 'breaks down', even though they can't see me from the stage. Ed is giving the guys 'hand signals'. Than I return to the stage and Dan has his harp solo, and we finish the song.

I really miss playing with these guys...

Tony...So sad that we have to lose great friends and musicians in our lives, but I think playing and putting the music out there is THE best way to remember and pay tribute to them. That was some fine playing by all and you will always have the memory and fulfillment of having played with some great musicians.
