I don't like using EB's on neither a strat nor tele. Those things sound much better on Gibson scale guitars.

What year and model SG are you putting those on?

When I was a kid, I had a 61 Special RI, blonde, gold hardware, 3 pickups, and a used walnut colored standard circa 1973 or before, it was worn so...it was old, I knew nothing about dating a guitar back then, I just had the guitars and played them.

Love EB SS's - just picked up a 12 pack this weekend which should last me quite a while!
