The Offset Special needs to be offered in Surf Green and Lake Placid Blue. I already have black and sunburst guitars, and I'm not about to be playing a pink guitar in public.

Not me! If you've got the chops, then rock it! I love that pink offset. I would prefer a rosewood fretboard, but that guitar is just so cool. If it sounds as good as it looks, then it will be a winner.

BTW - Anybody know if it will fit a strat hard case? I don't like gig bags.

Hello from a curious swede!

Totally new to the forum, I don't know if this is the place to ask, but I'll try anyway...
I sooo very much want the beautiful new "pawn mustang", but I'd prefer it in strat scale...

Now, does anybody know if a strat neck would fit or if there's a reasonably easy solution for the matter?

I'm thinking the extra fret of the mustang neck might compensate for the scale differences, but I might be totally wrong? (happened once before... ;-))

thanx /hakon

HI All,

I tried the new Pawn Shop Bass, looks great, feels Great. But I had a problem with going to the High register. For a medium sized hand I could not reach over the body.

Played great though, I think I'll pass on this one.

This was my concern about the bass. I play a few songs that my lines are past the 12th fret, so that could be problematic. I do have long fingers, so I might be able to play without issue. I'll have to try it out, if I get a chance.

It really was a draw back, with longer fingers or not I think it would be an issue for you. Try it and see, let us know.

Yeah, if I come across one, I will. I haven't done any hands on shopping in a music store in ages.
