Questions for Brad Traweek --

Does the Jaguarillo use the same bridge and tremolo parts as the Classic Player Jaguar Special?

Is the finish on the back of the Jaguarillo glossy or satin?

It's funny, I was thinking of making my CP Jag similar to what the Jaguarillo is, but using three Jag pups. The 5-way switch is in a horrible spot for us Pete Townshend-type players. :(

Tempting...

Doublechecked on these for you and the answer to this one is: yes.

Brad,

A couple questions about the Jaguarillo:

1. MIJ or MIM or MIA?
2. How many pieces is the body made of?

Kudos to Fender for these new designs!

I'm lovin the reverse Jaguar bass, the sunburst is old school & the Red rocks...& if they're going for $1079. MRSP then street price will probably be around $750. -$800.

I'd say judging by the first 3 digits of the model number (the reverse Jaguar model number starts with 014) I believe they'd be made in Mexico.......but i could be wrong. :)

Hey Brad if these are indeed Mexican are the bodies & necks cut in the states & then sent to mexico? are any of the electronics american? :)

Am I the only one who doesn't like the Offset? Fender, don't get me wrong, you guys make great guitars! This one just isn't my cup of tea. However, the Jaguarillo and the Mustang look really nice! :D

The offset Jag, jumped of the page! very innovative, creating something new without giving it's identity away. Makes me think of John Entwistle's Fenderbirds.

The Jagarillo reminds me of my Jagstang, which is a very fun and great sounding guitar. The new Mustang special finish is very cool. I'd like to beat that one up for a good spell under my Excelsior. Pawnshop stuff is very cool. I thought it was a strange way to market things at first, but the stuff sounds too good, is too exciting to pass by. I've been playing Fender all my life, and I like that the staff finds ways to keep the brand fresh.

It's alway exciting to see a new versions launched by the greatest guitar makers. I'd love to get my hands on these to see what has been done to make these great sounding instruments different in feel and sound. Fender engineers have their hands full when they try to improve on some of the best sounding instruments ever to entertain this earth.
But I'm all for it!

The Reverse Jaguar Bass (reverse Fenderbird) is undoubtedly the first Fender bass to use dual Music Man humbuckers! :P
