Sorry I didn't post earlier--the program you're using won't load the songs on my iPhone and I had to listen at home...

Nice tone--love the backing tracks--bass and rhythm guitar lines remind me of the backing tracks of an old Elmore James record (very cool).

Are you playing in standard tuning for the slide parts? If so, imagine how you'd play a lead guitar part (without slide) and then go everywhere on the fretboard you'd normally go, except with your slide. (that will put you in Earl Hooker territory).

Try the same thing in Open G...DGDGBD (fat to skinny strings)...very cool and fun to riff with.

I don't want to give you too many tips because I'm insecure and I don't want you getting better than me!

yeah I was playing in standard tuning. I got a nice roomy sound by running a guitar cordless and 2 mics in my upstairs bathroom (two 40 foot cords where ran up the stairs for the mics, my amp was on the toilet   ....) I then ran two separate channels on my mixer, an audix i5 in front of the amp and a condenser as a room mic. I could then set the reverb amount accordingly. :D

Now THAT is cool... 8)
