I just registered my new 50th Anniversary Jag today. Apparently, this is a fairly new page. The page I used over the last two years was totally different. And, after registering this guitar, I see that absolutely none of the gear that I have registered over the last two years shows up.

So, what happened to the three amps and two guitars that I registered before? I need to go back through my records and re-register everything?

I've had similar trouble on some sites... i. e., trying to find things that should be there. "Contact Us" button is a good place to start. Post your problem and, believe it or not, someone actually responds within a short period of time.
So far it's worked every time for me.
Hope you have similar luck.

Thanks, I find the phone is more effective. But the product registration process has changed. And they have never acknowledged registration via email. (they do acknowledge promotion registration though.)

I'll place a call tomorrow and find out.

Thanks,
Art

Product registration doesn't have anything to do with warranty coverage or anything else that benefits the consumer. Registration is purely marketing research -- it gives Fender demographic info about who buys their products. As such there's no need for them to keep your info on file forever. They're concerned about current and future marketing trends, not about past sales.

As far as the warranty is concerned, the only thing that matters is having the sales receipt. If you have that, you're covered whether you're registered or not. And if you lose the receipt (and can't get a new copy from the seller) you're no longer covered, even if you had registered the instrument.

Yeah, the warranty clearly states that.

But I did talk to them and since everything was registered under the same email, they agree that all items should have shown up.

I also complained because they send acknowledgment emails when you register a contest, but not when you register a product. But again, product registration really doesn't mean a whole lot. At least to instrument manufactures.

Would be cool to see the pictures of all my gear on one page.
