What brand electric guitar would you be playing if Fender was never around?

Me personally would either go with Schecter or ESP

Well, I'd still have my other guitars.
I may not have a different guitar instead of a Mustang.
I wasn't planning on getting a new guitar when I bought it--I went to the store to by a distortion pedal. But I had played Mustangs before and I knew I liked them, so when I saw two on sale I gave it some thought and bought a Mustang. So if Fender didn't exist, I may have one less guitar.

ANd a lot of guitar companies would have a very different product line.

Probably Schecter for me, as that is my favorite guitar brand after Squier/Fender...

If that was the case, I'd most likely be rocking something BC Rich or some type of Jackson King V or Rhoads V styled guitar, no trem though...

Hmmm, but if Fender never existed, would G&L have been created? Because if Fender never existed, Leo may not have been around to start G&L after he left Fender...

I guess you'd have to assume all S type guitars wouldn't exsist.

Interesting question. There would probably be quite a few other guitar companies that would not exist.
Since I own just Fender and Gibson I guess I would be playing Gibson's.
