Heres a cover of In the Shadows by the Atlantics. The backing track is from http://www.martincilia.com
I ran across a link to his site on this forum (thanks oldguy101) :P

This is a first attempt at a surf tone so I figured I may as well record the result.
Cheers

I love surf rock and couldn't help to download the backing track and play to it. I didn't listen to original track, and didn't listen to your track. I listened to the backing track a few times and recorded to it http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=11605636.

I use my BOSS BR-800 recorder D/I to my Cyber-Twin, I used my '66 Jazzmaster and my Cyber-Twin with a custom config that Gary Hoey http://garyhoey.com/ gave me years ago.

I absolutely love your song. I haven't heard the original, but your version is one of the best surf songs I have ever heard. The mood of the song fits the daydream of the surfing life. And the beauty of the shore. Well done. :D

    Thanks for your kind words.

The storm last night knocked out our Internet connection so I wasn't able to listen to your track until today. You really captured the 'soul' of track and I really loved your tone too.

Here's a link 'Hang 10' http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=6815573, to the original track (minus my lead guitar) a surf song I created (and played all the instruments) and recorded back in '08. It was #1 on the Soundclick charts.

I made the coda at 3:30 long so that it faded out for however long one wanted to play. I'll post my track with the lead guitar later.
