thanks so much!
I'd like to point out that Shane,my son is playing a '57 Strat reissue, and the brown amp behind him is a 1960 Fender Super 40 watt 2x10.
I'm playing a '62 Strat reissue plugged straight into a 1967 Fender Vibrolux Reverb 35 watt 2x10.
both amps were mic'ed and Shane was using a wah pedal and a little distortion from an effects unit,I'm not sure of the brand.
We're pretty bare bones in our gear and our approach to using it...it's there, what you see is what you get. :D ..the live sound was great, someday I'll get a good recorded song to let y'all hear.
oh and btw,my daughter-in-law is a real beauty,and a real sweetheart,she loves the music,her dad is the drummer. :D

Sounds great, Reb...you and your son are really talented. I also like the fact that you put your own bend on the tune yet were able to stay true to the original.

I love the old brown Super amps...I saw Kim Wilson playing harp through one twenty years ago, and man, they're just killer.

On a related note, just like it would be great to see an accurate blackface Vibrolux reissue (another thread with a lot of your presence and input) I'd like to see more of the brown face/brown tolex amps reissued. I have a '63 reissue Vibroverb (yes, I know it's not a completely accurate reissue, what with the PCB and the solid state rectifier, but it sounds--and looks--killer)...and it's a wonderful amp for both harp and guitar.

A brown Super would be a great addition to the lineup...but it will probably never happen. :?

Either way, great playing and great band...keep on sharing your vids, I'm lovin' it...

Remember the Alamo!

What you only played them amps and you had a Marshall top behind you!

Just kidding. Great, and I mean fantastic sound. Nice and clear, whoever sets your levels deserves a beer. It really highlights the great playing.

yep,Nick....and I sure was tempted to plug into that Marshall!!...it belonged to the band who played after us,they were nice guys, but I had never met them, but next time I'll ask!
The sound was really good,I wish you could get a real good representation from the video...but thanks for the compliments guys! :D
