Dickey Betts endorsed PRS awhile back, he plays'em from time to time. So I guess they hold up good in southern rock, he prefers Gibson Les Pauls though, can't really blame him for trying to grab a few more bucks.

I personally don't like PRS.

PRS always makes me think of Carlos Santana. Nice guitars, I wouldn't mind having a few of those.

Hello FriendlyGuitarAddict,

They are real nice guitars.
Many have bird inlays on the fretboard but I
like the moon markers they also offer.

Cheers.

I'm actually thinking of picking one up myself. I like the feel of them and as Chet said, they are good for any style.

They are good for just about any type of music. I mean their roster of users ranges from Santana to the guy from Cradle of Filth who has a signature model with them....

Maybe Cradle of Filth isn't considered Death Metal, but they are metal and their guitarist, Paul Allender, has a Signature model PRS that anyone can purchase...

Also Mark Tremonti (check spelling) plays them, and no he isnt death metal, but he gets a big heavy sound out of them . They are fablous guitars that have great style, not for me though, the necks dont fit my hands
