I do believe you also need to drill new post/guide holes for 'em too.
(could be mistaken).
That's what discovered when I tried to install a set MIA tuners left over from a partscaster.

I have found some nice black nickel locking tuners made just for Squiers at

(jeez, that's the second time today I've plugged that site, is that wrong?)
