There is an extra hot corner of Hell reserved for murderers,child molesters and woman abusers.I don't believe in the death penality but I think that a suitable punishment for these monsters is solitary confinement for the rest of their natural lives,without any human contact whatsoever,no reading materials, radio,magazines or anything remotely like them.They should only be left with the memories of the crime that they visited on their innocent victims to ruminate on.Some may regard this as cruel and unusual punishment but having lost someone who I loved deeply in the fall of 1974 after she was brutally raped and murdered,I feel that this is the very least that they should be punished. The creep that did it is living carefree with a family these days and most likely not having a second thought about the beautiful person whose life he snuffed out.He was deemed a "model" prisoner despite the fact that he and another inmate escaped and held up a bank with a shotgun just 2 years into his "life"sentence,of which he only served 7 years. Little thought is given to the loved ones of the victims who wonder daily what their loved one would be doing today if their life had been spared while the criminal is allowed to get on with their lives worry and care free.Even though I don't believe in the death penality I really don't know what I'd do if I ever met him face to face and dread to think of the outcome.

Hi Buxom: before people can act out brutal fantasies they first have to imagine them. That is true of paedophiles, and we know it is true of Breivik in Norway because he wrote about his violent ideas at length in his "manifesto".

What I'm getting at is that when we start contemplating nasty things we'd like to do to people - no matter who they are or what they've done - we have already taken the first step towards being like them.

We are in sole charge of the insides of our own heads. Best to fill them with pleasant thoughts, if we can. Wouldn't you say?

My other guitar is a Strat.

Alice is the Godfather of rock. A real hero not just for his decades of quality contribution and really honing the whole horror-rock genre. But he's helped a lot of other million selling rockers with various problems.

I'm edging towards picking Graham Norton. His new brand of humour seems to be focused on not making people laugh makes mine, and I'm sure a whole lot of other peoples, Saturday nights a bit grey.
