I was just dicking around with settings on my new PC I picked up 2 nights ago. I bought it broken for $45 and had it fixed in an hour. It's a 2011 Acer Aspire desktop with a 1TB HD, an Intel Pentium Duocore, and 6GB of RAM. Also came with the monitor. The CPU alone is $500 brand new. The monitor is about $100. I didn't do too bad on it, considering the idiot that "broke" it accidentally installed Vista on the same partition as 7 and made Windows pretty angry. This thing is amazing though.

It also gives my recordings a bit of a deeper voice for some reason.

I don't have much space, so I had to compact my battle station as much as possible. Every flat surface in my room is now a table, and yes, that is a school desk. But going from left to right, Telecaster/stand, Monitor/keyboard/Ideazon Reaper Edge II/school desk/mess of wires, CPU/fan/mini fridge/7 port hub, Peavey Envoy 110/small table like thing.

Also, my mom came in when I was setting up and said "What are you doing?" I just replied "Living the dream."

I kinda figured that. The one in my laptop doesn't really mess with the sound. The laptop I have was designed for recording/DJing/other sound applications. This was designed for more work related stuff, though it could have gaming potential if I buy a separate video card.

Anyways, I can't buy anything really expensive atm. The only reason I bought this was because even if it was broken beyond repair, there'd still be money in it.
