That's amazing, that's almost exactly what I envisioned, only the guitar was a bit thinner sounding. What drum program do you use?

Glad you liked it, that was a blast. I use an old Yamaha RY20 drum machine

Cool sounds K, not the same riffage, but cool sounds just the same. 8)

Well, here was a quick one. Improv. Turn your volume down, I really let loose with the distortion. Hell, everything is cranked here.

  Priceless !

It's ironic that you cover a Buxom classic and it sounds like the Clash.

I don't get it. Then again, I'm not a fan of The Clash, at all.

I have been using Dunlop .73 mm picks exclusively for years and I find that they have just the right amount of flex for the kind of picking and strumming that I do.

To me the Clash do indeed sound good. Record sales show that I'm not alone.

You claim that the Ramones are your main influence, yet you continually rubbish bands that may have been influenced by them in those days.
All those early Punk bands were influenced much earlier by the NY Dolls ...IMO

Constructive criticism:

Playing is better, picking and timing is much better.

I know you have problems getting a clean sound with your recording rig, but when I hear someone using that much distortion I think one of two things: [1] Something in their rig is broken (and not in a good way) or [2] the person doesn't know how to properly use distortion.

Overall, it's definitely an improvement; try to figure out how to record something--anything--clean.

is it bad that I've never really like The Clash or The Sex Pistols? No, I just don't like them. I've tried getting into them, but every attempt has been a failure. If you want me to enjoy a UK punk band, I'll have to pick Cockney Rejects, The Exploited, or GBH. I've always liked the early American and the later/more refined UK for some reason. I can't help it, it's just how my brain works.

Your brain works? :P (just kidding...maybe).

+1 dude you need some new gear. I know you are saving for a car and that of course is way more important, but at least try and get a mic and proper recording interface.

One reason I use line in is because my room isn't sound proof. I share a wall with my grandma, and I don't like her when she doesn't get enough sleep.
