What a band - the Band !!!
Thank you for posting ! Makes me emotional :( -listening to this beautiful music and thinking of Levon and his ongoing suffering.
What a characteristic voice! All the members voices were very good - but Levon is the man !
The first 2 songs are among my absolute favorites -and 'Ophelia' comes close.
Thank You, Levon- for what you did - and best wishes , seems like the end this time

Anyone who hasn't seen "The Last Waltz" on DVD needs to do so. It truly is a great performance and an end of an exciting chapter in Rock and Roll. I wonder if Robbie Robinson still has the bronze dipped Stratocaster he was playing? All very talented musicians. I'll never forget the first time I listened to the album "Music from Big Pink" when I was a student at CSU in Ft. Collins, Colo. That album changed the way I hear music!
