I worked out a sorta bluegrass solo arrangement of "Stairway to Heaven" on a G6122-12. It's one great 12-string:

Thanks for checking it out, guys! I went to see the Monkees a month ago and Mike Nesmith played his 12-string Gretsch for all but one song. -Marty

This is pretty much the coolest and simultaneously weirdest Stairway to Heaven version I've EVER heard!
Very cool!

That fretboard slide scared me a bit!

Wow, that is cool!!

Didn't know that Gretsch made an electric 12-string until just yesterday. Discovered it by accident on one the big musical supply websites.

I guess the dog doesn't get as excited about your playing as we do.

:D Well Done. Nice Gretsch. It would only be appropriate to work out a 12 string blue grass version of "Iron Man" while wearing a Led Zeppelin T-shirt for your next video.

BTW is that an old Philco TV in the background?

Thanks! I don't know if you're still checking into this list but if you are, I'm sorry for the 7-month delay in response! Yes, that's a Philco Predicta TV in the background. Bluegrass Iron Man with a Zep T would indeed be the right thing to do.

The dog, Roxy, sadly passed away last year. She was always happy to lay at Daddy's feet when he played.
