I got the pedal I have been GASing for, the Eventide Space Reverb and Beyond:

This pedal probably does more "beyond" type sounds than I will ever need but I was blown away by some of the demos I've seen online (even the standard reverbs) and had to have it. I have a feeling I'll be tweaking knobs for a while. :D This pedal has 100 presets and each one has a Hotswitch that can be programmed to tweak a setting, so each preset can have 2 tones.

Here is a quick clip to check out a couple tones, try to excuse the sloppy playing. Cheers...

Great playing--felt a little Clapton creeping up on me!

Cool effect...give us more samples, that was very nice.

Thanks for checking out the demo and the kind comments guys! There is a flub around the 1:35 mark but I think all the verb covered it for me.

I'm even happier with this pedal than I hoped for. :D I almost called in sick to work today so I could stay home and play with it. Luckily common sense kicked in. This pedal was expensive but sooo worth it! The quality is blowing my mind.

More tracks to come, I have narrowed down the 100 presets to 20 that are my initial favorites. Biggest surprise so far is that I like the sound of plate reverb better than spring reverb for general tones.

Here is another sample track to check out some more tones from the SPACE pedal.

This one has the Hall reverb on a clean rhythm part and an effect called Mod Echo Verb (which has some delay too) on an overdriven part.

More to come :P

Here is another tone using the Mangled Verb effect which features distortion. This tune is a cover of a Buxom original. Sounds best at a loud volume :P

I don't know which I envy more, your talent or your new pedal :P

Just listened to the other samples, what versatility!
(and the Space pedal is pretty cool too !!)

I just know my wife's hiding 500 bucks around here somewhere.
Let's see, if I was $500, where would I hide?

This is very very way cool.
Thanks for sharing.

Far too kind dfrain, but THANK YOU!

Envy the pedal for sure, I think the best thing I ever did to improve my tone was buy a Fender Stratocaster.... the second was buying the Eventide SPACE pedal. This thing is just killer and inspiring.

I know $500 sounds ridiculous for a pedal, but considering the quality and amount of effects, I think it was worth it. (plus I got a discount from Guitar Center on a coupon I received with a catalog)
