Gang: we just made a few configuration changes on the servers this morning - let me know if anyone sees anything unusual/unexpected while surfing the forums this afternoon. Much appreciated!

Could you make the BB Codes for Flash, as in making videos available to be embedded in posts available, also, a spoiler BB code would be nice. I don't want to have to look at the same pictures when a thread with a lot is put up.

And, when a regular link is put up, could you make it so it opens a new tab?

Next time you make some changes to the forum, you could do this and I think this would improve the experience for the user.

Hi Brad: don't know if this is the sort of thing you're getting at, but as of today (12 April) the Forum keeps logging me out everytime I click on a new page. Never had that before, far as I recall.

Cheers - C

It's not doing that to me...Perhaps it's your computer. Have you updated your internet program recently, or anything like that?

Hi teledeluxe72: could be - and actually it's stopped doing it now, so who knows?

I just mentioned it in case it's the kind of thing Brad has in mind.

Cheers - C

EDIT: [couple of minutes later] Huh, doing it again...

Technology... :D

Perhaps it's something to do with the loading-maybe according to exact load on your Internet where you are, it has to attempt to load twice or something, thus logging out in the process. Who knows? :D

If it persists for days, then maybe it's something that needs to be changed. Otherwise, it could just be technology acting up.

Maybe - we'll see. It's not an issue I've had before, and nothing's changed far as my computer's concerned, settings or new programs or anything, and it's not happening on any other sites, so...

Not that any of that means anything. I wish Brad made housecalls!

Cheers - C

EDIT: just done it again! ...Maybe it's the internet's way of telling me to go get on with something else!

It's the new lifestyle suite-it runs in the background, but monitors your internet use. It has obviously decided that's it for today.

HI Brad, not sure what's happening but I am receiving e-mails of responses to posts, as normal, but then receiving them again anywhere between 8-24 hours later. Don't know if that is an issue relly but it is a bit annoying........thinking someone has reponded to one of my wonderful witty posts to find it is the same post I was alerted to earlier in the day...............confused.com(I appreciate it's not difficult to confuse me but I do prefer a simple life...... )
