I just bought (for example) a Strat. Which model exactly did I buy? How does the electronics work? Did I get a good deal? Is it American? Are the pickups any good or do I have to replace them? Should I have bought one with a maple fingerboard because it is better? Etc, etc, etc?

Maybe it's me but shouldn't all these types of questions be resolved BEFORE a purchase?

Yes to the last question Martian or during the test drive.
"Does it have a brass nut?"

I've been playing banjo for 3 months and decided it was time to get a guitar.....I went on to e-bay and found this Fedner Startocastor..............a total bargain!!! Jimi Hendrix played it at Glastonbury in 1991!!! Only £15,000!!!!! Will post pics when it gets delivered. The seller said, for insurance reasons, it would taake six months to come through.... ...but, hey....a piece of guitar history at a bargain price, I'm sure once it comes through I'll be playing like JImi himself in no time!!!! :D

BAck to the banjo in the meantime..........this was another lucky find........it belonged to Les Fender as a child..........man I am so lucky!!

It is difficult to find banjo strings in sets of 7 tho........... :?

Q2: i just got a American Custom Shop Strat for $38 on e-bay but it's made of cardboard.....is this normal?
Q3: sometimes my new guitar makes different sounds when I put my fingers in different places.......is the "innotashion" off?

Guys, some help, please.

I just bought a car. Can you tell me: does it have good fuel consumption? What's the warranty position on this model? Does it go fast? Should I change the tires? Did I get a good deal?

And... what is it? It's green and there's a long number etched on the windows, if that means anything.

Thanks in advance (that'll save me bothering to say thank you later).

Cheers - C

Why doesn't Fender make a guitar that has a Les Paul body and a Telecaster neck?
It's the same company isn't it?

And it should be recyclable too.
