Love it, 2012 Gibson LP Classic Custom in Wine Red. has the baked maple fretboard, quite nice feel to it.

Nice, I think you made a grate choice. Thats what I set out looking for when I got my gold top. but I couldn't find one locally. I'm sure you'll love it. 8)

No, thats actually the baked maple fretboard. Nice and smooth, and bright sounding.

That's gorgeous man! Don't get me wrong - I still LOVE my Fenders, but I recently picked up a cherry burst '95 Epi LP, and I think I'm addicted to Les Pauls. Really gonna try to hold off on any more impulsive NGDs or NADs, because I think a Gibson LP Standard is in my very near future. Congrats on the new guitar man!

Well now that I've had a couple days to play her, all I can say is WOW. Great sound and feel, and I love the 60's neck, which is the reason I sold my Studio LP, the 50's neck felt like I shuold have been swinging at fastballs with it instead of playing music with it.
