i recorded some shizz at the PAC at school today, despite it being the holidays over here. obviously they are the three most recent songs.
considering i was alone, i also decided to 'sing' (hardly...)
theres a added bass drum on 2 of the songs by the way.
all live, no effects or re-takes or any of that mumbo jumbo.

really scrappy, i know, but hey, it was one of the first time's i kicked a bass drum, played guitar and 'sang' at the same time

I really liked the guitar parts on "Clogged"...that was a very cool Jack White-meets-Cobain-while-Bo Diddley-falls-into-a-trance type of vibe. I especially liked the kick drum, it added a raw, primal pulse.
BYW, What was the outta control distortion pedal? It made it sound like "something's broken" in a cool way. It reminded me of a Muff of some variety.

I liked the lazy guitar lines of "Pest", too.

Overall, I like the raw aspects of the recordings--they're real, not processed. Your personal style seems to be that "stark emotion over technical prowess/anti-shred" feeling, and that's pretty dang cool. I don't listen to grunge-y blues/rock all the time, but there's something there that makes me give it another spin.

Keep it up...

I really liked Clogged as well and can definitely hear some Jack White. They were all very good and I also liked the way your voice sounded. Thanks for sharing!

SA, yes it was a dying big muff. i often use nearly dead batteries, to give it that sound.

so it'd seem clogged is listenable. funny too, as soon as i wrote that riff i thought, 'man, people are gonna think i'm trying to rip off jack white'
