I finally got time to watch (and play along with) 'The Rolling Stones: Some Girls - Live in Texas '78' on Blu-ray that got over a month ago http://www.amazon.com/The-Rolling-Stones-Girls-Blu-ray/dp/B005OGYH9U/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1333640115&sr=8-4, and I really had fun.

I remember that tour because 'Some Girls' album had been released, and The Stones were on SNL.

I thought the concert was great, Jagger was really putting on a show. It was a little odd the way he kept messing with Ron Wood. Keef touched on this in his book.

BTW, I met Ron Wood back in Dec '70 when 'The Faces' (with Rod Steward) opened for 'Eric Burton & War' at Dayton's Hara Arena, I was surprised to see him playing with The Stones on SNL.

I caught them on that tour they were better than other times I saw them but also not as good as '72.

72 Tour was one of their better ones..75 was good too!
