Here's me with my son's band a couple of weeks ago playing Whippin' Post, the sound quality isn't great being recorded with a camera....and there's some rough places in the playing, but it's live and totally on the fly jammin'....just having fun.

Thanks Buxom,he can sing!,the clip sound doesn't do it justice...the venue is a great place to play, the guys who put it together are sound gurus.

I'm interested in singing. I've tried a few spots here and there, but I mostly sound drunk, or genuinely bad... This guy is an awesome example of not me!

I Just put it on loud whilst doing domestic duties. Enjoyed it :D

Great guitar work obviously. Drummer and Bass go really well.

Now I just want to abandon the housework and plug in.

Good stuff 8)

Aaaaaaaaah. That's better. 8)

Rick, one of these days I'd dearly like to come sit in the front row for one of your gigs. That's my kind of medicine. I think on another thread you mentioned playing two two-hour sets a night? Well. That would be good for starters, at any rate.

Respect. And kudos to Mr Soul Jr, too.

Cheers - C

Thanks Ceri...if you show up at one of our gigs, you're gonna' jam Bro.!
Yeah,we play a long time, and jam on most songs for awhile, not every song gets a jam,but we have plenty that do.
Someday I hope to get a pro video and sound DVD put together, one that sounds better than this,a camera just doesn't pick up all the tonal experience.

Really enjoyed that, on my laptops speakers the vocals sounded a touch Jeff Buckley ish and the guitar shades of Santana. What a pairing that would have been!

Thanks for posting.

Yeah!! Nice one Rebelsoul, good vocals, tight drums and bass and strong soloing on the guitars. I think you guys have a future together. :D

Thanks everyone!
I've been jammin' with my son off and on since he was about 10 years old and he started on the drums...a year or two later he started on guitar and it just took off from there,he is easily the most natural guitarist to play with because we're on the same wave length,we think alike and there's no egotistical competition at all,we just have lots of fun...it's kept us very close over the years, that's the best thing of all. :D
