You guys should promote a concert. So many premium acts mentioned. I'll second the Lightnin' Hopkins and Johnny Winter. And add Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Walter Trout. 8)

Ahem.........

Hey??? Do you like SRV? How bout Jimmy Hendrix? Or Gregg Allman? Eric Clapton?

Well, if you like those guys, then you better get in touch with

Elmore James

Could be the godfather of hard rocking blues and maybe the SRVs biggest inspiration......

A good source for Blues for me is Slacker.com. They are a FREE radio station with three "stations" of blues to chose from. I like their Modern Blues station for it's selection of guitarists but you may also chose Blues or Traditional Blues if you perfer. It's a great source for musicians who you may not hear otherwise. Check it out! Regards, Larry

Got yourself some great suggestions Breise, never heard of half of them myself Im not a great CD collector or connoisseur of any particular music genre, I can listen to mostly anything but for blues you can do no wrong in tracking down some Peter Green ( early Fleetwood Mac)
