I honestly enjoy stuff like this. It's weird, because I don't understand a lick of Spanish (other than maybe a few questions like "Where is the bathroom?" and "What time does the bus leave?") but the rhythm of it is really nice. I've been listening to this kinda stuff all day.

I'm digging all the British soul songstresses of the last few years--Adele, Duffy, Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, etc.

I also really like Pink and Kelly Clarkson for some reason...something about a unique female voice from an artist that has a hand in the songwriting and production of their recordings.

I guess that's what differentiates them from the disposable "pop tarts" who ate all flash and no substance.
