Well, I was browsing my school library for something to read over the next month or so, and this was the best music related book they had. To my understanding, it is a blues encyclopedia of almost every major artist with a mini bio on them. The first thing I saw was the back cover, which depicts a man wailing on an SG. This one should be a cool read, just thought I'd share.

That looks like Lightnin' Hopkins on the cover, it's hard to see though, but it looks like him.

One thing I love about it is that it's very organized. It's a very thick and heavy book too. My backpack felt a lot heavier after I checked it out...

And I'll look into that, Gorgon.

Lightnin' was one of the giants of Texas blues, influence to guys like Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top, Stevie and Jimmie Vaughan, Albert Collins, so many.

He used to wear the cool shades like that and it really looks like him.

Thanks Buxom, seems like an interesting read. Can you post the ISBN number please, if it is still in the book.

Thanks Buxom, it makes my life so much easier. The part of the country where I live is in total french immersion, and sometimes it is hard to find stuff like that book. Once was tougher than that though. :)
