ive only ever been in a studio once with my old band, and it was certainly jumping in at the deep end. we werent really prepared, it was a mates studio so we werent too fussed about getting our moneys worth, we just went down for a laugh and to see what happened. we had 2 full songs and one without lyrics that we had written to record.

anyways, how can i host them somewhere to put on here ? i dont really want to use youtube. and it needs to be free

just been watching some videos and stuff on here, and it would appear i might be a bit better than i gave myself credit for. not much though. ive got the tracks as WMA's.

edit - actually, ive only got 1.5 tracks. i dont have the master cd, and one of them has become corrupted somehow. :( unfortunately it was one of the ones with lyrics.

Hi Moochy

Soundcloud is pretty straightforward to use and is free. Just upload whatever you want to there, then when you post here click the url button and paste the link in between the two brackets that say `url` in between them.

1 - Download a free file converter (Switch and DBPoweramp are good!)

2 - Choose from these sites :

Good luck!

Ah i feel your pain moochy! If you struggle with file converters, one of the old tricks to do it without one is to burn the tracks to cd, then rip them from the cd using windows media player, making sure you have it set to rip tracks in an mp3 file. Wastes a cd, but i know there was once a time when that was the only way i could do it!
