X-Men actor Hugh Jackman is apparently a pretty good pianist. However, he turns out to be lousy on the guitar: at a celebrity party he is reported to have plugged into a Fender amp, maxed it out... and played really badly.

Or as Mary Poppins might say: SuperReverbgoesballisticXManisatrocious.

I'll get my coat...

Bluezhiemers: Playing a really awesome sounding blues riff during practice... then completely forgetting what you just played.

I suffer from this condition a lot...

Anyhow. If a guy used his Fender whammy a lot in the middle part of the song would that be a synchronized bridge section?

Or the vibratologists section?

Hee-hee - Screamin' Armadillo has awarded me a £100 fine. That's all the credit a man can ask for. 8)

I seem to be on the wrong side of coming up with new definitions for this thread and coming up with bad puns, but I'm on a roll, so...

Could it be said that a luthier who only repairs necks is someone who frets too much?

Or is that a guitarist who plays too many notes when a few well placed bends will do?

Ah yes, well then a Page Turner is someone who obsessively replicates Led Zeppelin riffs.

To Beckon is to make hand movements coaxing fascinating sounds from a whammy. Beckon is obviously a verb concerning vibrato action, that is to say, a Vibro-Verb.

   I don't know much about Coldplay bro, but Latin is a hobby of mine.

cerv = neck. xylo = wood. di = two. lemma = proposition.

One of my favourite phrases of all time!!!!! I did some Latin at school and Uni and always meant to keep it up as a hobby but have never gotten round to it.....

With your penchant for Latin and the other wordsmiths on here I may have to bite the bullett and get the old text books out and start re-learning the history of my own native tongue....... :?

By the way.......

Stratospheric - the inexplicable price difference for Fenders when you cross the Atlantic...........
