Would a person that excels in the manipulation of a guitar be considered as a (Guitfiddlogest)? Would folks like Clapton / Bonamassa & others, be qualified as holders of a P.H.D. in (Guitfiddlogy)? Would a person that specialises in finger picking be classified as a (Digetelegripher)?
