As a group and as individuals, we have often created new words to indicate our interest, pleasure or displeasure in particular items, people or art forms. Sometimes these are intentional, often times they are not, but they are always enlightening and increase our vocabulary.

I would like to propose that we make a record of such words and phrases, for future generations of Fenderites (see? I just recorded one of those words!). I will start with this word:

Telepathy--no, this isn't mind control or any kind of extra sensory perception...this is a combination of Telecaster and psychopathy. The resulting word (Telepathy) means a person is crazy about Telecasters.

Please add to the Fenderite Dictionary

SA...so all this would be Fenderology (Fenderology-Adjective used to discribe all things Fender as in History of...)

Fenderology would be the biology of a Fender--the type of pickups, switching, etc.

Perhaps the right word would be the Fenderlexicon.

Leo'd--the act of creating or improving something new that should have been so obvious to everyone; these new items quickly become woven into the fabric of the greater musical cloth.

Then, dose that indicate that if you are suffering from "Telepathy" that you are also (Telepathic)? Could you also be a (Stratopathic) who is suffering from (Stratopathy)? If you are looking for treatment for these afflictions would you seek out a (Guitolegist)?

I really like that one! 'Cept I wonder about the definition: "strattitude" makes me think of the chin-out kind of way a guy walks across the stage when he's toting his Stratocaster. He's stratting his stuff!
