just worked the last "bugs" out of the Tele..



i'm tickled w/it....the neck p'up (GFS Hot Crunchy) gives a full, sweet Blues tone, & the bridge p'up (Kent Armstrong hot twinblade 'bucker) handles nasty blues, rock, and even sounds good on "retro-metal".

scored a matching Strat body last week & it's up next to build....i'm thinking flame maple fb, gold hardware, & light orange pearl pg....one that blends w/the body color.

Very nice job on the tele! Love the plate around the neck p-up. A friend of mine has a strat with a stacked HB at the neck, DiMarzio I think. Bit of a compromise on the traditional "Fender" sound, but fattened up the bottom end rather nicely.
Planning to go sans-pickguard on the strat too? (Lots of holes to cover.)
