Such a section would be nice.

But I bet Fender doesn't want the headache of having to mediate disagreements or deal with rip-off artists.

Is there a section for musicians seeking musicians to start bands, projects etc somewhere in the forum? Might imagine there would be a need or desire for such.

Frankly, I'd love a literal trading post. No buy and sell, just tradings of parts. Surely, Fender could give their disclaimer of members being totally on their own, etc. but then again, I'm not Fender.

As always, this is merely IMO where YMMV.

I am glad there is no For Sale - Trade forum.

Visit any enthusiast website with more than a a few members and someone will start ripping people off - failure to deliver, partscasters sold as the real thing, counterfeit goods, who really said they'd take it first when a hot item comes up, looky-loo buyers who claim items and never pay up, sellers who decide at the last minute not to sell, etc. Fender would have to moderate too many civil disputes and deal with criminal issues of theft, counterfeits, etc.

Keep the garage sales out of here.
