Got a new Fender pawnshop excelsior on the way in mid April. Its 13w 15" speaker... Any chance I can gig small gigs/ open mics with it? Trying to avoid having to deal with a microphone for it.
Thanks! Goose

You should be fine for both if your doing it solo.If you got a drummer and bass player ....I really doubt it.I am very curious to try that amp out with my harmonica.I have a good feeling that it will sound really nice with my harp and that 15" inch speaker.Best of luck to you and enjoy that new amp :D

Scarleg took the words right out of my mouth...including the harp amp idea. I can't wait to plug into that thing with my '48 Astatic 200S and a Hohner Marine Band in C (cross-harped, of course!).

If you're playing with a band and only 13 watts, you're gonna have to mic that baby.
