I am glad Martian reconsidered. I loved learning from him. I hang out on a local musicians forum and don't check in here too much.

My favorite part of the Fender forum was the connection to players from all over the world: Ventures fans in Japan, strat players in Greece, bassist in the nether regions of what once was the Soviet Union, and, of coarse, the fine fellows from the British Isles. Kinda makes you realize the truth in the "music is a universal language" saying.

That's strange, I was just thinking the exact same thing!

I'll have to give this one a serious read and get back to it. Sounds like another Emo infection. Well, we weathered that one too. More later.

Wow. Too much going on. I for one am glad not to loose Matrian (and others) I love the advice he gives and use it from time to time for my own projects.

To all the other FF members, I too have been sitting back more lately. I have been looking at threads that peak my interests. I hate to lose the "old crew" members that have been around as long or longer than me.

So I'm on the subway Thursday evening, finally heading uptown to Penn Station to catch the 6:21, a train I hate to be on because it's so damn crowded, having been obliged to miss the three previous trains due to running long at the office. Still coming down from the tension, I'm quietly admiring the lovely face of a sweet young thing standing along side me, stylish of dark sunglasses, kind of generous of form, but a face and mouth to die for. Seated in a corner is a neat, casually dressed chap, slightly obese, perspiration glistening on his face, arguing aloud about some serious matter pertinent to him. The individual he is directing his comments to was created by H.G. Wells years ago..."The Invisible Man.'' The young lady, her lovely countenance framing a most serious look of concern, turns to face the door as we roll into the 34th subway station above the railroads. "You know", I said as she turned to face me, startled by my words. "The most positive thing about that conversation he's having is that he will never be wrong". The sun shone as she smiled, the doors popped open, and she was gone from my life. What an opener, and how times have changed. Forty years ago I'd have asked her to dinner. I bet she's somebody's baby.

There's a solid corps [like that?...corps/core...works well both ways!!] in this grand group which will see it prevail. I am forever reminded of it when I see those who can always be counted on to rise to the occasion {all except Andy who is currently having 'rising' issues which I have addressed elsewhere] when matters such as this present themselves. Remember the anecdote I've related to you the next time you consider getting involved in a rant.

Be 'The Invisible Man'.

Let the Wookie win!

You know why, don't you. :?:

Doc : 8)

There have been times over the years when situations arose and we have been subjected to some odd people. Eventually they go away, as I said earlier, wait it out.
