You haven't played old guitars and nobody with the slightest ear for music would say that your playing is alright.You are completely delusional-you can't play guitar well at all whether it's old or new doesn't make an iota of difference,heed these words: YOU ARE NOT A GOOD GUITAR PLAYER,IN FACT YOU HAVEN'T EVEN PROGRESSED TO BEING MEDIOCRE.You are so full of yourself that you are turning everyone off of you especially when you have absolutely no reason to be cocky because you are a tone deaf talentless airhead who will never be able to play guitar because you don't have the intellect to learn anything especially guitar and common sense. You could practice 12 hours a day from here to Doomsday and you'd never get the knack for playing guitar because you have no aptitude for it whatsoever. Now get lost.

So excited by the prospect, I apparently double posted.

1989 Vintage? Wow... Then my early 80s US Candy Apple Strat must be old!
Haven't seen it for some time now as it is back in the UK in my Mothers, most prob still in the loft where I left it. Don't even ask what model, it was just a Strat I played at one time that had single coils. Funny thing is I never realised, until a few years ago, that there was a lot of different types of Strat. All I knew then was that a Strat was a Strat and some sounded better then others. lol
I bought it from Curlee music s/hand for about 700 ukp around 1980-81.

I will have to go home sometime and bring it back to Oz.
In the meantime I shall just enjoy my Am DLX.
