Best wishes on your upcoming treatment Guitslinger, I hope it all works out.

I saw the post on the Gibson Forum. I can't find the words to describe the level of insensitivity and stupidity from the idiot.

Take care of yourself.

Guitslinger....man,I only read your first post in this thread and it made me angry.
I am suffering from arthritis,I have aches and pains all day and night,it limits my activity to a large degree now and I could eventually be in so much pain and restricted movement in my hands that I won't be able to play guitar....if and when I get to that point, well, then my main passion of playing music will be gone and I don't know what I'll do.
Now...for the little punk we've been trying to ignore, put up with or whatever way we've dealt with him doesn't get run away from here for good,I'm going to quit coming to this forum....yeah he's a kid,but it's a good thing he isn't where I could really tell him what I think, because it wouldn't be nice at all.
His parents must be no smarter than he is and for him to be living on the computer as he does it will get their azzes in a sling someday they won't get out of as he does something illegal....it will happen, and I hope it does...serves them right!

I'm pretty sure his parents' goal is to have CPS take him, RS. But it seems they don't want him.

Hey Guitslinger,

I feel for you and would sign the petition for blocking this individual if there was one. However -

Not trying to appear pretentious or otherwise insulting, it is clear as daylight to me that this individual has problems beyond what we can read in his literature. I took the time to watch his youtube videograms and recommend everyone to just ignore him as best as we all can. Troll or challenged or both, if he finds no attention from this forum he will go elsewhere. That's really all we can do ourselves. Turning on someone in his situation as an entire forum community may cause even more damage and may be read as what now under politically correctness terms is called cyber bullying. So just ignore the kid.

That means not commenting on his threads and not answering or otherwise reacting to his posts on our own threads. For anyone too weak to read his highly entertaining attempts at creating some kind of stir, I recommend the "Manage Foes" function under the "Friends and Foes" section in the User Control Panel. This is what it says as a description:

Brad gave us this function for a reason. Let's use it. 8)

-------------------------- Meanwhile, back on Earth:

Hey guitslinger, how's the treatment going by the way? Are you experiencing any changes yet?

Cheers and best wishes for an effective and lasting recovery -

Nutter

I also feel he has bigger issues than just being a troll. Obviously he is mentally challagened.

Symphaty for you , Guitslinger. Hope your treatment works out fine , so that you can play again , your entire lifetime. I have read some of your posts earlier , so I know you are in pain.
You are in your full rights to feel offended from this guy FP1- his statements are way across the border for normal , polite behavior . And I have also earlier gotten angry of this overexposure of lame , idiotic posts from him. But I think this one was a peak that deserves to be followed up.
I have looked into a couple of his threads now , and I see many giving him a hard time

But still - I am wondering if we should not get as pissed as we get (even though someone should stop him ) - I mean - it is nearly obvious that this guy must have a diagnosis of some kind ! He is perhaps not just thoughtless and immature..... I guess he is stuffed away in front of a computer just so his family can get some relief for a while ! But someone should take care of him before he gets into serious trouble............
PS- I now see that the Nutter is into some of these thoughts , too :)

Yep guys - in this case, as in many others, "ignore-ance is bliss!" ;-)

Just stay firm and don't give in to the urge to react to his posts. It gets easier after a while. You can manage! :)

May the Force be with you - always.

Nutter

P.P.S.: Same goes for other troll-like appearances we have here once in a while.

We've tried everything we could think of,Brad has kicked him out of here 4 or 5 times and told the members here to watch for him coming back under different names, which always happens.
Then Brad gets repeated reports on his posts I'm sure and the process starts all over again.I've seen many valuable members evidently leave this forum because of this type of thing and the folks who have been here longer than I have probably know of many more.
What this Lounge section has become is a place for people who have way too much time on their hands like the kid mentioned here, and the trolling and repeated verbal sparring is tiresome.
I won't respond to any of his crap anymore, but in doing so I will also not be reading anything else here at the forums except in the vintage amp section,it's the only section where I feel okay anymore.

No they haven't won nutter,I've been a musician for over 40 years,I still gig on a regular basis...that means going out onstage and playing for real live people in places where if you can't walk the walk, you had better not talk the talk.
I don't have anymore valuable time to waste on the crapola anymore if I'm not learning anything or having someone worth of passing hard earned lessons to.
Suit yourself,as usual YMMV. 8)

OK Folks here's something that absolutely passes all boundries of ridiculous. This morning I tried to respond to another insensitive inane post by Fender Guy 1 and was notified that I was banned from postng. Now I'm the 4th one who has been banned for quite rightly complaining about this brain-dead anencephalic cretin. The mods of Gibson are doing him a great disservice and injustice as they are in fact not only condoning his atrocious behaviour but rewarding it by banning others who take him to task for it.After working over 30 years with children with physical and mental disabilities and having a physically disabled daughter myself I have picked up more than a little about child psychology. Kids with learning disabilities especially have to be shown what's acceptable and what's frowned on in society,if not they will grow into obnoxious often out-of-control adults. You have to keep drilling them until you break through or you'll be in for a pile of hurt and trouble. They need to be told way more than"normal"kids because often it's not a learning disability at all some kids just have an inate mindset that they are right all the time and their actions and behaviour are quite normal and acceptabe and consequently purposely shut out advice and even resent it and that's clearly the case with this guy. There is nothing mentally wrong with him just as their are kids born who are natural sweethearts there are kids who are prewired to be obnoxious, unlikeable social misfits that you couldn't warm up to if you were cremated with them and this guy is a classic example.

Hope things work out for you GS!

As for FP1...it's one of the reasons why I left the forum for a few months. Not him directly but others like him...just got to be wasted time running into pointless threads.
