Well, I thought that I had seen the heights of idiocy with the things this guy posts,he has proven unequivically that he doesn't possess a modicum of common sense. As a lot of others here do I post on several musician forums and although guitslinger is my moniker on many I do use other forum names-especially if someone has robbed"Guitslinger". I was on the Gibson Forum yesterday posting about how I was looking forward to the Remicade infusions when who should join the conversation but Fender Person One-I guess that's his nom de jour-anyway this young cretin decides to impress everyone with his sleuthing abilities and tell the whole Gibson forum that I'm none other than Guitslinger on the Fender Forum and then in a display of complete audacity and insensitivity asks if I'll give him my guitars if it turns out I can't play any more.People make allowances because this little creep is a kid but when I was 10 I had common sense enough to know that what's not socially acceptable or kosher and this guy is 15? even if he's as young as 13 heshould have absorbed at least some shred of common sense by now.Anyway I felt that I had to post this here to let others know that he's not just a harmless obnoxious yong tool but he also can be dangerous because he has an enormous mouth and a tiny shriveled brain.I've lodged a formal complaint with the forum admins. over there and he'd better mind his Ps and Qs from here on in or I'll make sure he's "toast".

I got to ask... what's so bad that people know you're guitslinger on the Fender forum? You're well respected here. And like you said many people here are parts of other guitar forums.

BUT! I think you're right there's something immature (and trollish) about that guy... and he shouldn't be going around asking for guitars like that.

I hate to hear about the remicade treatment too. I definitely feel for you- my Dad's suffering from arthritis, and I hate being away up in college all the time because I can't help him out around the house. It's definitely not right for that kid to be so insensitive to be asking about getting your guitars from you.

lack of respect for those of us who have made our problems known.

if you were giving away your guitars i would take them maybe, but i wouldnt bloody ask for them that is the height of rudeness.

I know that had to strike a nerve with you. It would me too if I were in your shoes. But conssider the source. I'm sure that the members on the Gibson forum feel the same way about him as do the members of this forum.

I've read your posts about your upcoming remicade treatments. Best of luck to you and I'll say a prayer or two for you as well.

The whole reason we use different monikers on Forums is because most of us desire to have some degree of anominity and privacy. There was absolutely no need for him to disclose what my forum name is there could be a dozen reasons that I choose to keep to myself and that are nobody's business. It's the name that I chose so that I could have my little bit of anominity and for some reason unknown he got it into his anencephalic head that people on other forums should know whaat's entirely my business, this little freak has overstepped his boundries this time for sure and many on the Gibson Forum aren't too impressed with him as it is but I think this time even they have had it with him.He has had too many second chances.I didn't see what he'd posted until a couple of hours ago and apparently he posted it yesterday,I really couldn 't believe it when I read it and had to reread it several times to make sure that he realy did write what he did,I couldn't believe that someone could be so reckless, senseless and on top of it all incredibly insensitive. I could very well loose my ability to play guitar and quite honestly I really don't think that I could live with that proepect because that is the absolute most important thing in my life and has been the center of my life for over 45 years and this fool asks me for my guitars. I don't think so,my guitars will be going to someone who actually displays some aptitude for it I'd burn in hell before I'd give any of them to a tone deaf, untalented, self important bimbo who thinks that he's the next Angus Young or Jimi Hendrix-now that makes me laugh, the little twerp doesn't have a note in his head yet his mommy or someone must be telling him otherwise. After teaching God knows how many people to play and I know talent and/or aptitude when I see it and he doesn't possess one iota of either.I've tried to be gentle with him all along and have bit my tongue sometimes until it bled but these days are gone. From now on if he posts a dischordant cacaphony he'll be told the truth in no uncertain terms.

It really isn't right. If its anything, I can bet that the kid wouldn't ask you for your guitars face to face. Instead, he decides to do it behind a computer. I feel like many people bash others on the web for some sense of entertainment, especially because they believe there's no real repercussions to it. Its insensitive, cowardly, and immature.

Kids these days...

better make this post quick;
i haven't had much time to browse during the past 10 days, but i noticed as soon as i said i probably wont be that active the troll from down under returns. and whatdo ya know, his posts are getting more moronic by the day. i wanna know how the hell he got back on :?
for some reason i get the feeling that b-rad doesn't monitor this place as frequently as he did. so the troll from down under could be here a while longer, i think anyway.
if he's bothering anyone (which i can clearly see that he is) please just ignore it. this forums been through way worse before (including the invasion of yours truly a long time ago) but just dont leave this place. i dont wanna come back to a place that has lost half of its members to some troll kid who is just after some attention. im sure he'll find a more sophisticated and productive thing to do if you just simply ignore him.

Guitslinger : I Was one of those that said let kids be kids. This Kid gose way beyond kiddish immaturity. this one is absolutely moronic. Not at all the kind of kid I was talking about. You and everyone else has the perfect right to what ever anonymity you choose. The comment about give me your guitars was stupidly insensitive. This kid has already blown three chances. How many dose he get?

Guitslinger,

I truly hope that the medicine works and your condition improves.

You have every right to be angry with FG1. That kind of insensitivity is unfathomable. He has no respect for anyone and seems to be just completely oafish. Unfortunately, patience and civility is wasted on him. I have met people like this before and it has been my experience that after all else fails and even the inevitable punch in the mouth is landed, they continue to be antagonistic. You have every right to be intolerant of his idiocy and to call him out but I'd be surprised if you or anyone else could get him to change how he treats others.

It is surprising that he has made it this long being back on the Fender Forum. It will only be a matter of time before he is gone again. He is starting to post lame topics once again and now is crossing the line.I figured Brad let him back on but maybe he has no idea.Derek...sorry that you had to experience his inexcusable behavior first hand like that. Some people just go through life and never understand what it is even about.

Guys

Report him to Brad Traweek. That's the only right way. And don't react too much to his trolly BS, we've been there already and it wasn't good.

Cheers

David

Like most others here, I wish you well with your treatment GS. As for the punk FP1, I hope he is banned from here sooner rather than later.
