hi Gary , is it the mace or the jcm 800 , the mace i got about 1 1/2 years ago for nothing from a mate who works at the local recycle center v(well it cost me a crate of guinness ) and the jcm800 i've had for about 19 years or maybe a wee bit more . you'll need to drop over sometime and hear them for yourself gary . the mace will get a wee workout on sunday , i've got a jam / rehersal arranged , will be playing plenty of Rory Gallagher

hi , i got home early today , so had the house to myself and decided it was time to give the mace a workout , so i throw some rory gallagher into the minidisc player and get set up for the sound , it turns out i couldn't get the exact tone (well duh , he uses an ac30 ) so i put an eq pedal in fornt of a marshall bluesbreaker , WOW , what a sound , the tone was rory's as usued on the likes of moonchild , big guns ect , just roll the volume off and bam , there it was , i was playing for 1 1/2 hours there , i'm well pleased with this , now i remeber why i was so sad when it blew up , can't wait till sunday to try it in a 3 piece band set up , should be good , cheers
