Well we could have discussed it on this thread. I'm not contributing to the new one.
My comment was based on the fact that to re-string my MIJ Contemporary I have to loosen the bolts and cut off the ball ends on the strings.

It's a Floyd Rose Licensed Kahler trem. I'm assuming that the originals are similar.
I guess it's OK if you have a spare guitar, but I wouldn't like to try a quick string change during a gig.
