It was a P-Bass. It had a dodgy looking Fender logo on the headstock, and a Squier neck plate. It also did not have a serial number or a "Made in ______" decal. It was in decent but obviously used condition, and they were asking $350 for it. I hope nobody is fooled by it and sinks that much money into it. You could get a brand new Squier CV P-Bass for that, or a nice used real Fender bass.

I also saw a well-used Tele with a Fender-esque headstock. The decals on the front and back had been rubbed off. The fretboard was really worn around the cowboy chord area. I believe it was a Squier. They wanted $159 for it. The guy said it was a "Fender" but I seriously doubt it was.
