I just find something that records sound in any way shape or form, press play, and go to work. lo-fi ftw.


Though I am curious as to why you prefer a speaker cab to actually micing the bass amp?

I don't know any noobs that have equipment like that :lol:

Direct recording is maybe a more realistic option for beginners. I'm thinking most players would be at a point where they want to record their own custom backing tracks for practicing purposes before they are ready for this type of set up.

That said, I think your recordings sound very good and I appreciate you sharing, I just saying that this seems more advanced to me. Pics make it look like you basically have a full on studio. :shock: :D

I tried this with just my computer. Sound quality sucked. Still working on a method that does not sound like a chainsaw.
