hello everyone, going from past experience I'm sure many of you can help me with my misaligned tweed case I just purchased. It's about 15yrs old, looks like new inside and out, but some of the hinges and locks are loose. How can I put it right w/o tearing into the the lining, or better put, how can I align and tighten up the rivets?

btw, my purchase was a 1998 white Amer. Strat. w/tweed case, and tweed Bronco amp. All in like new condition. A professional player purchased these for his grandson in 1998, who never took it up. I'm a happy guy who really didn't need a 31st guitar, but what can I say?

Some guitar techs might be able to help you with this whereas any decent luggage repair shop definitely can. Realistically and either way, a hands-on examination would be required.
