Mister optimistic I am predicts that the U.S. will be close to war with a country starting with the letter I. The president will still be Obama but in 2016 the Hilliarynator will follow suit in the predictable minority row in politics. The U.S. government will have to bail out more corporations and give uniform tax refunds up at least $1,200 to everybody due to the legalization of polygamy and the male equivalent. This is what we get for having two presidential Republican's that are Mormons! I'm afraid there will also be a draft because of prior commitments with the other countries called letter I and letter A. People will have to take sides: far right independents or far left independents as the news networks squable over air time. Gas prices will be up to $10 a gallon due to the industrialization of India and China and the rest of the world. The end of the world? No. The begininng of the demise of thee United States of America, no. Just one of those freakin' centuries where poo happens.

Please don't start another political thread. They never end well.

Don't know. But I hope the Excelsior is built sturdier than my HRDlx was. I really want to try one of these little amps out.

When we are allowing people like Romney and Santorum anywhere near a public office, much less a goddamn presidential election, you know the country is on it's way down the s****er.

If you say the words "beer can" with an English accent, it sounds like a Rastafarian saying "bacon".

Not a fan of any running for office but must say the current holder is as much of a Moron as them. You need to stop watching CNN and study Economics. Current Problems of the last 5 years are direct effects of Pres. Clinton and the repeal of the Glass Steagal act. He also signed the Commodity Futures Act. In 1995 he signed the new Community reinvestment act which forced banks to make loans to people who where never qualified to get them in the past. Direct result was the housing defaults we have seen now for years. The CRA in 1977 was bad and Clintons CRA in 95 did nothing but create the sub prime mortgage meltdown.

The Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000 deregulated many financial products and over the counter derivatives, futures were no longer regulated under the Commodity Act of 1936. Especially energy related futures. another part of the collapses we have been in.

When blaming people or parties look into to policies that are the cause and you will no who to blame. And yes Bush did not help letting these thing continue on.

Plus on the Gas prices you will see that is because of speculators not low oil amounts, Last year the U.S. exported more oil then it imported for the first time since 1949. These are from leases that were created years ago coming to fruition. 52% of the oil used last year was from the U.S. Deregulated Commodity Futures! Speculators pushing up cost. Whats Obama done, nothing but talked of opening our reserves to flood market instead of policing the speculators who are some of his biggest campaign contributors. He has reported more money from them then anyone else this year. You can read about that in the New York Times or Bloomburg Reports.

I like Telecasters.

Especially double-bound with a rosewood neck.

Discuss.
