When you apply for an e-mail address you have to look at a letters and sometimes numbers that appear slanted and crooked. Why do they have to give this test? Are they afraid that the world is going to be taken over by monkeys, sans "Planet of the Apes". Think of another way to adminstor a test rather that discrimanting against animals.

It's called a Captcha. Without them, many sites would be over flowing with spam bots and sometimes malware spreading bots. They're much more of a blessing than an annoyance.
