Proficient in what genre? I play mostly punk, considering it's what I listen to probably 80% of the time. Why can't I venture out of my comfort zone? What's wrong with that?

Nothing wrong with it, its just that you come off as kind of crazy posting something that sounds this bad.

Whats next? A signature line of green tooth picks?

You know what would be baaaad $@!? ? If you practiced like a freak and then posted an amazing video of epic teeth shredding. I would sub for real bro.

The trouble is you refuse to come out of your comfort zone, continually ignoring the basic laws of music.
You are too lazy to learn to tune and play your instrument properly and seek instant gratification by continuously posting this type of thread. If you really think that you are even close to being a musician, you have very low expectations of yourself.
I only recently took all the pests off my ignore list to see what the "Ludnuts" fuss was all about and I see nothing's changed. I've tried to be polite to you, but something about your attitude makes my $#!t itch.
You seem to have endeared yourself to some of the folks here. I'm not one of them.
In real life we would probably get on well, but ........
This is my last communication with you.
I wish you well
(even the Ramones tune their instruments)
....Mark.

tuned*
I tune my instruments. Just not to what you like. And yes, I did do standard, and yes I did have it properly set up, and yes, I did learn 10 or so basic chords. I practiced for about 2 months, probably at least 3 hours a day like that during July/August, but I couldn't get the tone I wanted. Why should I have to give up the tone I love just to satisfy another player, who I'll probably never meet, or even hear from again?

I avoid solos at all cost, but I could try drop d (which I despise) and borrow a friend's guitar that has a floyd.

I'll get to it in a few days. I need to collect my thoughts after something a friend just did...

She tried to commit suicide today. That's all I'll say, but I'm trying to take my mind off of it. I fought with her for about 6 hours over it.

Terrible mic/camera. Probably doing a line in version so it can actually be heard. (Notice all of the background noise)

Posting something that bad on a Guitar site is certainly going to get people to talk to you... thats for sure.......   It obvious that's all your trying to achieve..... If your intelligent enough to use a computer well enough to post that your obviously taking the piss......Good for you......It gets a bit serious around here anyways....

Funny... this is the same guy that said, "I play so much that I started seeing significant fretwear after 4 months of playing"

Either you're lying about the fretwear, or you're spinning your wheels trying to learn how to play guitar....

Which is it ?

You know what's amazing to me? How you can come down so hard on somebody for trying something. Yes, I play constantly. Most of what I play is simple, yet I enjoy it. I also grip hard and play with a higher action, which are also huge factors. Tell me, why is it wrong that I try something I genuinely feel at least someone would get a kick out of? What the $@!& is wrong with you people? For the first time, I'm actually angry at something someone on here has said. You've made your #$@*&!% points, I'm not a satisfactory player in your opinions. Now what? You keep barraging me with insults until I explode? Great #$@*&!% job, I'll be back eventually.

That's got to be very bad for your teeth, you could easily crack one, very painful and expensive cap required.

Exactly!
I play with my son's band and during Voodoo Chile,he always plays behind his head and then "with his teeth",the crowd loves it,...but,I thought after all the money I spent on braces when he was a kid he better not be doing it...then I saw him from a better angle and he was just fingering the notes and not using his teeth,I felt alot better! :D
