Terrible mic/camera. Probably doing a line in version so it can actually be heard. (Notice all of the background noise)

Well, I posted it because of the irony, considering the phrase "Nothing is written in stone" was carved into a block of stone. It had no religious meaning whatsoever, I just found it funny.

There's your problem right there. Technique.

Try using a plectrum with the right hand, much easier.

It sounds like an Ode to tortured cats.

I'll do a line in version later. What killed this one was feedback.

Feedback didn't kill it -you did.

What an ironic choice of songs... Ode To Joy. It turned out to be anything but.

Well, here's the line in, still just as bad as my others.

And you know what keeps me posting here, and doesn't let me get discouraged? Knowing that your opinions don't matter as much as you think or hope they do. Maybe I'm wrong for playing just to play, and not being serious about it, but that's just me.

As a joke, it's kind of a little bit very mildly amusing. :)

If you're just trying to pass the time, well you have that luxury at your young age.

I personally would like to hear you play in a normal fashion...you seem to have some decent chops, let's hear 'em!

...and as for your presence here, you're a welcome breath of irreverence and humor, so don't think we're trying to run you off.

I don't think playing is simply "learning" finger positions, picking techniques, or anything. It's more finding what works for you. Criticizing someone for something that everybody does differently is wrong, it's like criticizing someone for the color of their $@!&. I don't have the money for continuous lessons, so I'm doing it myself. And playing is creating a sound for yourself, and if I sound horrible, so be it, I'll be a horrible human being as well, considering I enjoy what I play.

If I were you I'd make sure I was proficient playing using my hands before attempting to play with my teeth.
