Hey Jake instead of getting Fender to make you a signature guitar why don't you get Selmer-the makers of trumpets, saxes etc.- to make you your own horn,as you're so fond of blowing it.

Or maybe a carpenter to build him a cross?

The Teal green with the black pickguard is pure class. 8)
The flouro plastic bits, well .....
It would look fantastic with either white or black.

I take it you aren't very familiar with TC's posts and the usual progression of his threads?

Actually, Floyd has quite a few insightful comments and ideas. He expresses them a little bluntly and tactlessly, and I don't always agree with him (in fact, I often don't), but he has opened my mind and eyes to some music and ideas I wouldn't have come across otherwise.

He's earned the right, at least in my eyes.

...and the reason he's being a bit forceful? There's a long history of Jackassery and mendacity from the original poster, and the amount of dissension he's created has far outweighed the amount of positive or intelligent conversation he might have added.

I've noticed myself becoming more and more tactless, actually. Need to stop that. Though I'll be the first to admit that in a case like this topic I have no problem with forgoing any "nice play" and just saying what I want.

Using tact just doesn't work with some people and the message doesn't have any impact unless you are blunt and forceful yet truthful in what you say.

Floyd, just a bit of advice, while I side with a lot of what you said, from now on if you tell someone to shut up add their name so that they are the only ones who could take offence,if not you may ruffle the feathers of those you would least like to upset.Cheers.

Y'know, as I was typing and posting I thought of that. Then I was just too lazy to actually do it...
