I actually own a tuner a Boss TU-3

Does it have a battery?

The Boss Tuner uses both a 9 volt and an ac adapter.
I keep it plugged into my pedal board and tune most of my electrics with it.
I also own a Korg handheld tuner too. I have 2 tuners.
I tune my acoustics with my Korg because it pickups sound by a microphone built in and it also has a 1/4'' input, but is only battery operated.
By any chance, If your remotely referring to the way I sound being I'm not in tune it isn't, because I don't tune my guitar.

Ah, that makes things clearer than oatmeal.
Why on God's green earth would you not tune your guitar?
It's not even a cool "that's a little bit edgy/wild/unique/dissonant" out of tune, like Hound Dog Taylor's playing or the Stones' "Wild Horses"...it sounds like you replaced your strings and just started playing without even trying to get it close.
...and don't tell me that you're "underground" and that's why you play out of tune.
Ramones
Meat Puppets
American Blues
Warlocks
MC5
Velvet Underground
Sonic Youth...
All started as underground bands (a few went somewhat mainstream), and all TUNED THEIR GUITARS.

I wouldn't. What I'm saying is that I DO tune my guitar

Ah, the famous "Open Y Demolished" tuning, used by tone-deaf air guitarists everywhere!

If you think for one minute that your guitar is in tune you are definitely seriously tonedeaf or badly in need of a tuner that works.

No, you're a guy playing a guitar and singing his bedroom.

Looks great for St Patrick's Day. Now all you need is a pair of brogans, bright green socks, short pants with a ruffly shirt, green Bow Tie and a sparkly green top hat. 8)

I don't get how the guitar doesn't sound tuned when I play, yet it is properly tuned.
Every guitar player is going to sound different regardless. That's the whole point of playing.
I never want to sound like someone or be as good at something or better than someone else. I find that being my own unique individual is what makes myself a part of who I am.
I'm not perfect and never plan to be. I consider myself a lack of certain things to achieve positive imperfection which makes myself me. That is straight up who I am and no one can change it or will ever take that from me. Music is in the heart and will never die as long as I'm still around and even after I die hopefully. Music forever! -Sincerely, Jake.

How does it sound to us like you are not in tune? It is simple when you are playing it is out of tune. Maybe your guitars need set up. Each string might be in tune but the guitar is not intune with itself. Intonation is your friend. Get them set up.

As for the rest of a speech that sounded like it was badly lifted from a Borg monologue? Might want to get over yourself. You come off as if you think you are the second coming of Cobain, or some deep thinker. When in reality you come off as a whinny teen who fell asleep on a copy of Walden or some other transcendentalist book.

If you are playing a small club and take more then your main and a back up and a small combo you are doing over kill. Again your head is bigger than your skill. Just act more line a person and people would give you less crap. As for your set up? could have fooled most of us. Your guitars sound out of tune on youtube.

I mean in the 90s college radio-core sense like "chugchugchugWAAAAAAHchugchugchugWAAAAH" or most of the Pixies copy cat s*** that was "quietLOUDquietLOUDquietLOUD SPACEY BRIDGE quietLOUD"

It's YouTube's fault...or the economy's fault...or the camera's fault...or aliens...or the President's fault...it can't just be bad tuning or bad playing!

Plus you have to remember--Jake told us that all music is fake, so overall it doesn't matter...that is a fake video, fake song, fake guitar, fake vocals in a fake band playing in a fake underground scene...in a fake tuning.

But if all music is fake then what did I play all those years in that praise and worship band? Or those four years in high school or what am I listening to now on the big screen?

Hey Jake instead of getting Fender to make you a signature guitar why don't you get Selmer-the makers of trumpets, saxes etc.- to make you your own horn,as you're so fond of blowing it.
