Hey Guys,

This is my first thread on here, nice place you all have. :) I've been checking out the forum, and picking up some tips while saving for my first strat.

I played a Charvel for years when I was younger and then had a long 8 year break from playing. When I started up again about a year ago, I knew I wanted a differnt sound but wasn't sure where it would lead me. I tried some different brands and it wasn't long before I knew I wanted a Fender.

I ended up getting an American Deluxe HSS and I've been gettng to know her for last couple months. :D :D

This is my first recording with the new strat, nothing elaborate, just 2 guitar tracks and a drum machine, but check it out if you have the time.

Cheers!

You can get some really nice tone out of the N3's, as you've demonstrated so well. The Am Dlx HSS is a real versatile guitar. Keep on making good music with it.

Thanks for checking it out man! I've been really happy with the HSS, best choice I have made in a while. :)

Add a bass track and you've got a nice tasty instrumental there.

RAWK ON!

Thanks for the great compliment bro! :D I can't compare them with other Fender pups, but the N3's have been kind to me and I love the tones they produce

Very nice!!

This may or may not be an influence upon you, but that rhythm line is very reminiscent of Storyville (David Grissom and David Holt, guitarists)...and that is a huge compliment, so please take it as such...

Keep up the good work, and congrats on coming over to the "light side" and waving the Fender banner...

Thank you for the great comment, I'm really feeling the support here and it is appreciated! :) I have not heard of Storyville before but I'm about to check them out (gotta love youtube). Any comparison to a pro player is HUGE so thanks again, I'm about to get pull out my headphones and get schooled by the David's you mentioned. 8)

Thanks so much for checking it out! I almost went with a different color but I'm glad I went with amber. I LOVE it!
