Which means healthier hands. Which means, better for guitar/bass playing.

I just had FSA Omega Compact drop bars installed on my Giant Defy 3.

I got them because (after a brief try in a shop) they were so comfy in the drop position (shorter drop from the tops), and easier to reach the levers in the hooks.

AND:

For the first time in 3 years, my hands didn't go numb on a ride. I am so happy. Had no idea this would be a benefit of the bars. I can spend time in the drops and hooks, they are so comfortable. So now I have 5 hand positions I can fully use on the bike. Solved all my bar problems.

My stock bar that came on my bike had my hands numbing in the first mile or so.

I am so glad. I have been wondering what effect numb hands from cycling would have on my guitar playing in the long run. Hopefully, I don't have to fear it anymore.
